How it works

Three steps. Two minutes.

No photos needed to start. Tell VaaLeo what's in your wardrobe and how your week looks, and it does the matching.

Tap what you own

Pick from common items like a white formal shirt, khaki chinos or brown leather shoes. Add anything else with a photo, and VaaLeo reads its colour and pattern.

What it handles

The decisions you make half-awake.

Colours that work

Navy with light blue, charcoal with maroon, khaki with white. Clear pairing rules, and each outfit says why it works.

Dressed for the weather

Short sleeves for a hot Mombasa afternoon, a sweater for a 13° Nairobi morning, darker trousers when rain is likely.

Shoes and belt sorted

Brown or black, leather or sneakers. Your belt always matches your shoes, and no sneakers on formal days.

Stripes and checks

Patterned shirts go with plain trousers, and the trousers pick up the stripe colour when they can.

What to buy next

Wardrobe gaps shows the one item that would give you the most new outfits from what you already have.

Stays on your phone

Your clothes and photos never leave your phone. No account, no sign-up. Keep a backup with one tap.

A sample week

Five workdays. One small wardrobe.

Four shirts, three trousers and two pairs of shoes give a full working week without repeating an outfit.

Example for Mombasa in October. Your week is built from your own clothes and your town's weather.

Made in Mombasa

Built for Kenyan offices, churches and weather.

Global outfit apps don't know that Mombasa reaches 33° in March or that Nairobi starts at 11° in July. VaaLeo does, and it plans around your real week, from Monday's meeting to Sunday service.

Questions

Good to know

Is VaaLeo free?

Yes. VaaLeo is free to use, with no subscription and no hidden charges.

Do I need to photograph all my clothes?

No. Quick setup lets you tap the items you own from a list in about two minutes. Photos are optional, for anything that isn't on the list.

How do I put it on my phone?

Tap Open the app. On Android, Chrome offers "Install app", or use the menu and choose Install app. On iPhone, open it in Safari, tap Share and choose Add to Home Screen. It then opens from its own icon, like any other app.

Is it on the Play Store?

Not yet. The Play Store version comes after testing. Until then, the app above works the same way and updates itself.

What happens to my data?

Your wardrobe, photos and settings are stored only on your phone. If you turn on "Use my location", your approximate location is sent to Open-Meteo, a free weather service, to get the forecast. Nothing else is shared.

Is there a version for women?

Not yet. VaaLeo starts with menswear, and a women's version is planned once the men's version is right.
